　　On the morning of April 8, 2024, Secretary Mu Ruijie of Henan University of Animal Husbandry and Economy, along with leaders at all levels of the university, Chen Zhenjie, Executive Vice President of the Henan Food Industry Association, Niu Jinghong, Secretary-General of the Henan Food Industry Association, Song Zhenyu, Director of the Jiaozuo Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Zhang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Wuzhi County CPC Committee and County Mayor, Su Ruijun, Deputy County Mayor of the Wuzhi County Government, as well as key leaders from the Wuzhi County Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Animal Husbandry Development Service Center, and other departments, together with leading officials from the Sanyang Township Party Committee and government, relevant doctoral faculty members from the University of Animal Husbandry and Economy, more than 30 supply-chain representatives from across the country, and friends from the news media, gathered at the auspicious HuaiChuan site of Xuru Group to solemnly hold the signing ceremony for the university–enterprise–government Yellow River Native Duck Industry Service Team and the launch event for the “Fourth Generation” ultra-clean frozen fresh duck blood product. 　　Group Chairman Qiu Guoqing delivered a welcoming address, stating: “As a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, our company has now established an integrated, full‑chain operation encompassing duck breeding, feed production, native duck farming, food processing, and supply‑chain services.” Leveraging the advantages of the Yellow River Native Duck’s complete industrial chain, we have formed a joint technical‑innovation consortium with Henan Agricultural Economics College, the Henan Prefabricated‑Dish Technology Innovation Research Institute, and several other research institutions. Building on nearly 30 years of expertise in end‑to‑end duck‑industry processing, and based on a thorough analysis of market demand, a team of 12 doctoral experts in the food sector collaborated on scientific and technological R&D, successfully overcoming 36 critical bottlenecks. The result is an ultra‑clean, high‑quality, highly nutritious, innovative frozen fresh duck blood product. Mr. Qiu added that, on the occasion of this new product launch, we will solemnly hold a signing and unveiling ceremony for the tripartite collaboration—government, academia, and industry—to establish the Yellow River Native Duck Industry Service Team. Together, we will forge a service‑cooperation model featuring “government + industry service team + leading enterprise,” thereby advancing the integrated development of industry, education, and science. This initiative represents a significant step jointly undertaken by the government, universities, and enterprises to drive the high‑quality growth of the native duck industry. Relying on Henan Agricultural Economics College, we are establishing the Yellow River Native Duck Industry Service Team to support the high‑quality development of Wuzhi’s native duck sector, enhance the brand influence of “Wuzhi Yellow River Native Duck,” and firmly position Wuzhi as a premier destination for Yellow River native ducks.

　　Zhang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Wuzhi County Party Committee and County Mayor, delivered a speech, stating: “Holding the signing ceremony for the ‘Yellow River Native Duck’ industry service team involving government, academia, and enterprises is both a concrete manifestation of implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on ‘deepening industry–education integration and school–enterprise cooperation,’ and a specific measure to carry out the decisions and arrangements of the Municipal Party Committee and the County Party Committee, leveraging technological innovation to drive development. As a traditionally large livestock‑raising county, in recent years, Wuzhi County has steadfastly regarded industrial revitalization as the overarching strategy for rural revitalization. Drawing on local specialty agricultural resources such as Yellow River native ducks and Wuzhi quails, and relying on leading agricultural industrialization enterprises like Xuru Group, the county has continuously strengthened cooperation with higher education institutions and research institutes—including Henan Agricultural Economics College and the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences—while adopting measures such as policy incentives, financial support, project‑driven initiatives, and exemplary guidance. The signing of the government–academia–enterprise agreement on the Yellow River Native Duck industry service team with Henan Agricultural Economics College represents a further deepening and refinement of our strategic cooperation with the college. Wuzhi County will intensify its policy support to ensure that this tripartite collaboration yields results as soon as possible.”

It has undertaken more than 70 vertical and horizontal industrialization projects and technology‑transfer initiatives, thereby driving innovation and transformation across the industry. The three parties will collaboratively develop a service cooperation model featuring “government + industry service team + leading enterprise,” thereby promoting the integrated development of industry, education, and research. Meanwhile, Henan Animal Husbandry and Economic College has conferred upon us two prestigious designations: the “Hundred Experts Assisting Hundred Villages (Enterprises) Project Service Base” and the “Doctoral Workstation,” with 12 specialized doctoral experts providing technological innovation support to the group.

　　Zou Jian, Dean of the College of Food and Bioengineering at Henan Agricultural University and Executive Dean of the Henan Prefabricated Dish Technology Innovation Research Institute, explained the development trends of the duck-blood industry. Professor Zou stated: The fourth-generation frozen‑fresh duck blood leverages Xuru Group’s comprehensive industrial chain advantages for Yellow River native ducks, using blood from these ducks and employing cutting-edge production processes such as core fresh‑preservation technology for fresh duck blood and a 60-second ultra‑rapid freshness‑locking technique. This ensures the product is fresh, delicious, and nutritious, while preserving the characteristic texture of duck blood—delicate, smooth, and flavorful—and offering faster serving times, greater standardization, and enhanced stability. Looking ahead, the duck-blood industry will evolve toward cleanliness, low‑temperature processing, and full‑chain assurance.
