Henan Xuru Food Co., Ltd. was established in 2009 and is committed to developing a comprehensive industrial strategy centered on the entire duck meat production chain. The company has grown into a group corporation integrating livestock and poultry feed research and development, feed processing, livestock and poultry breeding, farming, slaughtering and processing, as well as cooked-food production—a fully integrated industrial chain system. Qiu Guoqing, male, born in October 1972, from Wuzhi, Henan Province. He is a Model Worker of Henan Province, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Consultative Conference of Jiaozuo City, and Chairman of Henan Xuru Agricultural and Pastoral Group Co., Ltd.
Since its establishment in 2005 as a leading enterprise in the agricultural and pastoral industrialization, the company has achieved annual sales revenue of nearly 1 billion yuan and provided employment for over 1,000 rural surplus laborers who have transformed into industrial workers. It directly involves more than 1,700 local households in meat duck farming, increasing each household’s annual income by over 100,000 yuan. Indirectly, it has spurred over 30,000 people to engage in various related businesses.
Over the years, while continuously expanding his business and driving industry progress, Qiu Guoqing has always regarded taking on social responsibility as his own mission. He actively participates in various social welfare initiatives and the "Guangcai" cause, donating nearly 100,000 yuan each year to social公益 endeavors.
In response to the national poverty alleviation policy, Qiu Guoqing guided the company to sign a letter of intent with the government of Sanyang Township, Wuzhi County in October 2017, establishing an industry-based poverty alleviation base for impoverished households and adopting a “411” approach for targeted poverty alleviation. The base is located in Sanyang Village and Xifeng Village, Sanyang Township. The company has distributed over 200,000 yuan in rental income and dividend payments from equity investments to the 442 impoverished individuals from the 132 registered households at the base, thereby advancing local poverty alleviation efforts.
